Technical Trainer/Enablement Engineer – Westborough, MA

The Technical Trainer/Enablement Engineer will be located in Westborough, MA and will report to the Director of Technical Enablement.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining enterprise software documentation and a large portfolio of technical materials, both as static documents and on-line content
  • In-person and virtual training of technical groups consisting of end users, administrators, customization engineers and managers
  • Developing and improving high-standard training programs to match ever-changing product features and requirements
  • Creating high-quality training  multimedia content, including slides and videos
  • Guidance and enablement of customers to help them realize maximum value from the product

Core Requirements:  

  • Exposure to IT industry and standards
  • Experience with Windows Operating System, development experience a big plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, HTML, PHP, and other web technologies
  • Proven 2+ years of experience developing technical documents/specifications, including documenting new functionality and features
  • Experience with creation and editing of presentation slide decks and presentation videos
  • Proven 1+ year experience training technical teams of various sizes and skill levels
  • Ability to collaborate with enterprise IT customers on various technical challenges, actual client-facing technical consulting experience a big plus
  • Resourcefulness, persistence and self-drive to “get things done” in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate, express opinions as part of a team and drive projects
  • Self-directed work ethic and willingness to foster new ideas
  • Light travel possible 

Other Skills:

  • VBScript experience
  • Database work and working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Wordpress
  • Ability to manage small projects
