Description: This position is responsible for promoting and selling the Aternity Platform through direct customer contacts within the Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, and Telco Verticals. The Regional Sales Manager will grow revenue with a strong work ethic throughout the entire sales cycle starting with daily cold calling, setting up meetings, preparing supporting business practice documents, managing and closing business to meet and exceed quota.
The successful candidate will have a winning track record of selling Application Performance Management, Performance Management, Benchmarking Tools, and/or Enterprise Software solutions directly to end user clients. The candidate must have: A proven track record of exceptional performance, exceeding goals on a continuous basis and a successful background in early stage technology companies; Leading client presentations using the appropriate team resources to win the business; Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to make dynamic presentations; Exceptional selling/negotiation skills; Ability to handle simultaneous priorities; Business skills and ability to quickly build executive relationships are key; Market understanding of consultative sales. Industry expertise in the Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, and/or Telco markets selling to CIO, IT Management and Technical Levels.
Education: Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering disciplines. MBA is a plus.
Qualifications: 15+ years selling enterprise software to enterprise accounts. Average sales price of product $200k+. Must be articulate, passionate presenter, evangelical in what they do, great communicator while presenting, speaking or writing; Creative in the way they problem solve, market opportunity process oriented, build and execute against plan; Process versus relationship selling; Strong rolodex they can sell to while at the same time doing their own lead generation by direct dialing, emailing, building pipeline; Must have the ability to schedule two meetings a week on site at customers; Entrepreneurial spirit while mature in execution; Power player; Must have documented sales and quota achievement success in enterprise software space; Potential to prove in a short amount of time their sales skills, organizational skills, relationship management with career aspirations of becoming a Vice President of Sales.
