Lead Development Manager - Westborough, MA

Aternity is seeking an assertive, high-energy individual who would drive  the company’s cross-functional lead development efforts in order to fuel end user experience management market segment growth. In this position, the right candidate will play an integral role in developing new business opportunities and directly impacting the growth of the company, while working alongside many members of Aternity’s leadership team. 

The Lead Development Manager will excel in a professional working environment where daily, weekly, and monthly goals are expected to be met. The ideal candidate may also have previous experience working in a marketing and/or sales organization.  However, it's more critical that the candidate have a clear ambition and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In addition, the Lead Development Manager must thrive on “finding the needles in the haystack” and has experience leveraging a number of tools outside of traditional databases, such as Social Media sites like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook while also leveraging web resources and search engines.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuous data mining Aternity’s various marketing database to identify leads that require follow-up and nurturing, while also having the ability to correlate data among these databases to identify trends and patterns within target accounts
  • Consistent outreach via email, phone, fax, and direct mail to identify leads to get them further engaged with Aternity, while also working with Aternity’s Marketing organization to create and execute new nurturing programs
  • Tight collaboration with members of Aternity’s sales and business development organizations to engage them in appropriate opportunities as identified through data mining and nurturing efforts

  • Proven experience in enterprise software sales/marketing to one or more of the following verticals is a plus: financial services, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications, and/or healthcare.

Experience:

The ideal candidate must have experience in a Marketing or Sales Organization, while also possessing the following:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing disciplines
  • Previous B2B sales and/or business development experience (minimum of 5 years), background in enterprise software a plus
  • Salesforce.com experience a must
  • Familiarity with performing routine tasks throughout Microsoft Office applications, including familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
