QA Engineer – Hod Hasharon, Israel

The QA Engineer serves as the final and most critical checkpoint for technology enhancements before release to Aternity’s widespread customer and partner base. This position is a critical resource for Aternity’s Research and Development organization. This position is responsible for a number of core technical tasks related to Aternity’s Frontline Performance Intelligence Platform including creating E2E test plans, routinely running and managing functional and non-functional tests, analyzing, tracking and reporting test results, and scripting automated tests.

  • Must be able to develop and write detailed testing documents in accordance with technical overview documents
  • Must be able to trouble-shoot any technical issue and provide an accurate scenario and description of areas for improvement to Aternity’s development organization


In addition, the Aternity QA Engineer will:

  • Have prior experience with Oracle DB including installations, creating and running SQL queries and DB inquiries
  • Be very familiar with the following Operating Systems:
    • WIN XP, Vista, WIN server 2003, WIN server 2000
    • Linux Red-hat, Suse
  • Possess background in software and hardware monitoring/measurement tools including vitals and network
  • Have experience with enterprise-class system installations

Experience: The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Be fluent in English (both oral and written)
  • A proven track record as a QA Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Experience with enterprise applications, Application Performance Management (APM) or system management technologies
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Creative problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work exceptionally well in a team-oriented environment
  • BS Computer Science Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and be able to self-manage the critical tasks at hand
  • Team-oriented, focused, and committed to technical excellence
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations quickly and learn new tasks rapidly, while also being self-confident, assertive, and very efficient
