Eden Shochat - Vice President Strategic Planning & CTO (Co-Founder)

With over 15 years experience establishing and leading research and development efforts in a variety of software companies, Eden Shochat is a serial entrepreneur and technology specialist.

Prior to founding Aternity, Shochat co-founded Delavenne Enterprises, an analytics-based hedge fund and served as Director of Software Engineering for Savantis Systems, a start-up that developed leading solutions for database virtualization for Fortune 1000 companies. At Savantis, Shochat led the development of the dbSwitch Linux appliance and co-authored three of the four major patents filed by the company.

Before joining Savantis, Shochat served as the Chief Technology Officer for Shells Interactive where he led the development of advanced client-side graphics technologies as well as server-side, internet-based platforms, working closely with the development teams of industry leaders such as Macromedia and Intel®.

In April 2008, Shochat was named as one of the 40 best professionals in Israel to create a successful startup by TheMarker magazine.
