GUI Developer – Hod Hasharon, Israel

Owning and developing Aternity’s User Interface, the GUI Developer is a critical resource for the company’s Research and Development organization. The position is responsible for technical and usability tasks, designing and building Aternity’s Frontline Performance Intelligence Platform’s user interface and managing the product’s look and feel for an optimal end user experience.

Must be able to design and write software components from inception to delivery including detailed design documents, mockups and usability testing
Must be able to collaborate effectively with outside contractors for graphical design and integration of components
Must be able to collaborate and work well within a multi discipline team

Must be self motivated, fast learner and be able to take the lead on a project and manage it through successful completion

In addition, the GUI Developer will:

Have fluid experience working in Adobe Flex and web-based GUI solutions
Be very familiar with the following Technologies:

Flex, Java, HTML, Ajax, Javascript
OpenLaszlo, Struts knowledge is a plus
Tomcat and Java application server is a plus

Have experience in development methodologies and usability testing
Have a proven record working at an enterprise software company

Experience: The ideal candidate must possess the following:

Be fluent in English (both oral and written)
A proven track record as a Web GUI Developer with a minimum of 3 years experience
Experience with web GUI application development
Ability to collaborate and work exceptionally well in a team-oriented environment
BS Computer Science Degree or Mamram graduate
Results-oriented, focused, and committed to technical excellence
Ability to quickly adapt priorities and focus within a dynamic and deadline-oriented environment
