Behavior Learning and Problem Lifecycle Management

Aternity monitors, aggregates, and analyzes the three primary components that dynamically interact to both define and impact end user experience: Application Performance, Device Performance, and User Productivity.

For every performance metric collected, Aternity automatically generates an Autonomic Performance Profile or Baseline. Aternity baselines can automatically be split, for example by location, subnet, target server, hardware configuration, browser-type or even LDAP-defined department, so that a granular baseline exists for every group of users sharing the same experience for the same transaction or business process. This is all done out of the box without any user definition whatsoever.

As soon as performance deviates from the baselines or manually set thresholds, a problem is automatically detected, alerts are generated and tickets opened, the business impact is analyzed, the impacted users isolated and the probable cause identified.

Proactive detection of performance issues by learning and analyzing behavior in real-time, together with automated root cause analysis, empowers IT teams to rapidly address business disruptions and reduce their Mean Time to Repair.
